Mahesh's first Tamil Film for Vetri Maran

The Prince of Tollywood is all set to expand his market kingdom to near by neighboring states. While discussions about his Bollywood entry still remains to be a dilemma, latest buzz from Chennai circles is that Mahesh Babu has waved the green flag for director Vetri Maran to start scripting for a new kind of story line narrated recently. As per the same reports, this film will take off only in next year once Mahesh Babu completes the projects of ‘Businessman’ and ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.’

For information sake, Vetri Maran is a director of material who won National Award for ‘Aadukalam’ made in Tamil with Dhanush and Tapsee in leads. Good sign for Tollywood that at least Mahesh Babu is stepping into Kollywood with a direct Tamil film which of course will be made in Telugu too. Let us wait for an official declaration to know whether the subject is of a commercial entertainer or experimental.
