Why 3 Nandi Awards for 'Simha'?

Balakrishna roared at Box Office with sensational hit ‘Simha’ in 2010. Movie grossed mindblowing figures showing the stamina of a mass film to win Telugu audience. Never to forget, ‘Simha’ gave new life to Balayya when his career was in doldrums. Now, the same film grabbing Nandis for Best Artist (Balakrishna), Best Music Director (Chakri) and Best Female Comedian (Jhansi) is something remarkable.  

Well, the first one is 100% justified because we have seen Balakrishna in a character with different shades while awards for Chakri and Jhansi seem to be the result of lobbying done by Balayya himself, say insiders. Yes, BO Bonanza being a very close friend and classmate to Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, the rumor has been strife that three awards for ‘Simha’ is a form of memorable gift from KKR to close friend NBK. This is the benefit of having a Chief Minister friend. May be same do apply even for a Nandi to 'Parama Veera Chakra' in the name of Best Movie on National Integration.
