The BAFTA Film Awards 2025 are considered as most prestigious awards after Oscars in world cinema. The ceremony took place recently, and the winners have been announced. Conclave and The Brutalist tied with four wins each, including outstanding British film, best film, and editing for Conclave, while The Brutalist took home the directing gong with a win for Brady Corbet. Adrien Brody and Mikey Madison were among the big winners, taking home the Best Actor and Best Actress awards respectively. Brody won for his role in The Brutalist as a Hungarian-Jewish architect, while Madison won for her role in Anora, about a sex worker who falls for a Russian oligarch.

The ceremony saw a number of notable wins, including Best Supporting Actor for Kieran Culkin for his role in A Real Pain, and Best Supporting Actress for Zoe Saldaña for her role in Emilia Pérez. The Best Original Screenplay award went to Jesse Eisenberg for A Real Pain, while the Best Adapted Screenplay award went to Peter Straughan for Conclave. Other notable wins included Best Animated Film for Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, and Best Documentary for Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story.
