Rana on the term Pan India

Rana known for his frank talk came up with a stunner on the term Pan India. He said "Honestly, 'pan-India' is a stupid term. I was one of the few actors who popularized it because we didn’t have a proper way to describe regional cinema releases in North India. But with the explosion of the internet, such terms have lost their meaning. Regional films have already broken language and geographical barriers,"

Rana is currently collaborating with Dulqer Salmaan to bankroll the project Kaantha. Selvamani Selvaraj is the director for the project which stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead while Samuthirakhani is playing an important role.

Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media, an arm of Suresh Productions, and Dulquer’s Wayfarer Films. are bankrolling the project. Jhanu is the music director while cinematography is handled by Dani Sanchez Lopez and editing by Tamizh Prabha.
