Anurag Basu set to take Aashiqui 3 to sets

Aashiqui turned out to be cult classic and now all eyes are on the film's third instalment. Inside talk is director Anurag Basu is set to take Aashique 3 to sets from March 2025. People got excited ever since the makers started talking about Aashique 3 in 2022.

Anurag Basu speaking to scribes revealed "We have not started shooting yet. We will start the shoot next month." Karthik Aaryan is the female lead in the film. In Jan 2025 reports came that Triptii Dimri dropped out as the makers looked for innocent and cute looking girl and Triptii got the reputation of doing bold roles.

Anurag Basu however rubbished the rumours saying "That’s not true. Triptii knows it too." Currently Anurag Basu is awaiting the release of his film Metro in Dino. Metro in Dino is the anthology film and stars Aditya Roy Kapur alongside Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and Konkona Sen Sharma in lead roles.
