Nag Ashwin on Kalki 2898 AD sequel update

Movie lovers for long have been waiting eagerly for the sequel of Prabhas' sci fi entertainer Kalki 2898 AD. Now speaking to scribes, director Nag Ashwin shared the developments in the sequel.

He said the script work for the sequel has been completed and once Prabhas gives green signal the makers are ready to kickstart the schedule. He said plans are on to release the film in 2026.

The film has more screen presence for legendary actor Kamal Haasan. The makers will kickstart the shoot with Kamal Haasan. Rumours have it that the sequel would be titled Karna 3102 BC.The makers already completed shooting scenes that did not require Prabhas.

The sequel deals more on Puranas and scriptures and since Kalki 2898 AD ended with character of Karna, the second part will be more on Karna.Deepika Padukone will be seen as mother in few scenes and the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan in key role.
