AP High Court gives big shock to Daaku Maharaaj and Sankranthiki Vasthunam

The makers of Sankranthi films, Game Changer, Daaku Maharaaj and Sankranthki Vasthunam got a delightful news when the AP government gave permission for hike in ticket rates and screening of additional shows in the state.

However, acting on a PIL,the High Court couple of days back, slashed the number of days for which the ticket rates could be hiked. The rates hike permission was given only for ten days.

Ram Charan's Game Changer makers benefited from the 1 AM shows today. But when everything seemed to be alright and going accordingly, AP High Court passed an order giving a huge shock to Daaku Maharaaj and Sankranthiki Vasthunam. AP High Court revised the order and cancelled permission for the 1 AM and 4 AM early morning shows.

It said that the theatres can screen not more than five shows and among them one could be a benefit show. High Court's order will impact the collections of Balakrishna's Daaku Maharaaj and Venkatesh's Sankranthiki Vasthunam.
