Sukumar, known for his visually stunning and narrative-driven films, has a signature element: the item song. From "1 Nenokkadine" to "Pushpa: The Rise", his films have featured these dance numbers, with Samantha's "Oo Antava" becoming a massive hit. Now, "Pushpa: The Rule" is continuing this tradition, but with a surprising choice.

Initial reports suggested that Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor would be part of the song, paired with Allu Arjun. However, she was replaced by Srileela, a young and talented actress known for her dance skills. It was revealed that Shraddha's high remuneration was a factor in her departure, while Srileela agreed to a much lower fee.

The choice of Srileela was actually Allu Arjun's, not Sukumar's. The two had previously worked together on an "Aaha" advertisement, and Allu Arjun, impressed by her dancing abilities, felt she would be perfect for the song. He suggested her to Sukumar, who agreed.

Anticipation for the song is high, with the Bunny-Srileela combo promising captivating dance moves. Adding to the excitement, Rashmika Mandanna, the film's leading lady, will also be featured in the song, a rare occurrence for heroines.

With the completion of the item song, the team will focus on a final song featuring Allu Arjun and Rashmika. The team aims to wrap up all remaining work, including post-production, within a week and release the first copy by the end of the month.
