A source close to the project reveals that Lucky Baskhar draws inspiration from The Wolf of Wall Street and Scam 92, exploring the banking sector and stock market backdrop of the late 1980s. Dulquer Salmaan plays a banker turned rogue in pursuit of wealth, landing him in trouble.

The film's climax promises to shock audiences, crafted by director Venky Atluri in an unconventional manner. The production design is a notable asset, featuring a massive 1980s Mumbai-set. GV Prakash's background score is expected to elevate the cinematic experience.
