Devara Emerges as Blockbuster Despite Divided Reviews

Defying initial divided talk, Jr. NTR's Devara: Part has triumphantly grossed Rs 500 crores globally, according to the film's team. Released on September 28, Devara capitalized on NTR's star power and the Dussehra holiday season, attracting family audiences.

Despite impressive numbers, north box office trackers report a lower figure, estimating Devara's global gross at less than Rs 400 crores. The film's Hindi version is expected to close at Rs 59 crore nett, with an overall finish of Rs 265 crore nett.

Devara excelled in Nizam/Andhra, securing its place as the fifth-biggest film in the circuit, following RRR, Bahubali - The Conclusion, Kalki 2898 AD, and Salaar. However, its performance in other South areas and Hindi markets was underwhelming.

With $8 million in overseas earnings, Devara's worldwide total reaches approximately Rs 380 crore, falling short of Kalki 2898 AD's Rs 1000 crore and Saaho's Rs 400 crore plus. Devara also trails behind the Tamil film Greatest Of All Time, which achieved Rs 440 crore worldwide.
