L2 Empuraan: Tovino Thomas To Play Young Chief Minister

The highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer, L2 Empuraan, is nearing its final stages of filming. Mohanlal reunites with actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran in this eagerly awaited project. Tovino Thomas will reprise his role as Jatin Ramdas, and recent updates have sparked excitement among fans.

According to the latest reports, Tovino Thomas's character Jatin Ramdas will be seen as the young Chief Minister of Kerala in L2 Empuraan. Location stills from Thiruvananthapuram confirm this development, showcasing the death anniversary meeting of PK Ramdas. Mohanlal will reprise his iconic role as Stephen Nedumpally, while Prithviraj returns as Zayed Masood.

The star-studded cast includes Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sai Kumar, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Baiju Santhosh, Saniya Iyappan, and others reprising their roles.
