Can Devara Hindi version hit the right note.NTR's "Devara," the highly anticipated pan-India project following the global success of "RRR," is generating immense buzz. The film's promotional campaign is in full swing, and the excitement at the grassroots level has driven buyers to invest in its theatrical rights.

The Hindi rights were acquired by Anil Thadani for a substantial ₹50 crores, according to Bollywood media reports. While the breakeven point for this investment is typically around ₹100 crores net, recent trade reports suggest a lower breakeven point for "Devara" in the Hindi market. The film is estimated to break even with a distributor share of only ₹15 crores, which translates to a net collection of ₹30-35 crores. This lower breakeven point has fueled optimism about the film's potential success in the Hindi market.

However, considering the extensive promotions, "Devara" was initially projected to open at ₹8-10 crores in Hindi. Despite the lower breakeven point, an opening in the range of ₹5-6 crores, coupled with positive word-of-mouth, would still be considered a solid start.

The film aims to achieve numbers similar to "Hanu Man," another recent hit that grossed ₹65 crores net, with a distributor share of ₹35 crores from the Hindi markets.
