Vijay son to direct Sundeep Kishan

Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil superstar Vijay, has chosen to forge his own path in the film industry, stepping into the role of director rather than following in his father's footsteps as an actor. After announcing his directorial debut with Lyca Productions last year, Jason Sanjay is now poised to launch his first film with Telugu actor Sundeep Kishan in the lead role.

Sources close to the production have revealed that Sundeep Kishan has agreed to play the lead after a compelling narration from Jason Sanjay. An official announcement is expected soon. This marks a significant move for Sundeep Kishan, who has been actively pursuing Tamil films, most notably playing a key role in Dhanush's 50th film, Raayan.

While actors like Dulquer Salman and Dhruv Vikram were initially considered for the role, Jason Sanjay ultimately chose Sundeep Kishan for his debut project. Filming is expected to begin early next year.

Sundeep Kishan is currently busy shooting for Trinadha Rao Nakkina's upcoming entertainer and has several other Telugu films lined up.
