After Baahubali series and somewhat Saaho, Rebel Star Prabhas has been unable to score a hit matching his stardom. His and his fans wait has been come to an end by 'Salaar Part 1 : Ceasefire'. Though the film didn't match his iconic 'Baahubali' series boxoffice but managed to cross Rs 700 Crores mark despite tough competition from Shahrukh Khan's 'Dunki' in Bollywood. Makers revealed that the second part, 'Salaar Part 2: Shauryaangaparvam' will come out soon to complete the story.
According to insiders, the shooting for “Salaar: Part 2” is scheduled to kick off in the second week of June 2024. Prabhas, fresh from promoting “Kalki 2898 AD,” has allocated bulk dates for the sequel. The production team aims to wrap up filming within four months, targeting an April 2025 release.
Recent reports reveal that Prabhas prioritised “Salaar 2” over other projects, including “Raja Saab” with director Maruthi. The shooting schedule will be a seamless start-to-finish process for Prabhas. Director Prashanth Neel intends to complete the sequel within a budget of approximately Rs150 crore. Hombale Films is backed Salaar franchise.
Reports suggest, that Kiara Advani and Shine Tom Chacko are the latest additions to the already ensemble cast involving Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruthi Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, and others. Ravi Basrur is composing the music while Bhuvan Gowda handling the cinematography.
