Nikhil clarifies on joining TDP. Recent social media buzz suggested Tollywood actor Nikhil Siddhartha had joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). However, Nikhil himself clarified that while he supports the party, he hasn't officially joined.

Nikhil's support for TDP stems from his father-in-law, MM Kondaiah Yadav, receiving the party's ticket to contest the upcoming elections from Chirala. Nikhil expressed his gratitude to TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh for this opportunity and urged everyone to support his uncle.

Nikhil's sister is married to Kondaiah Yadav's eldest son, forging a close family connection. Kondaiah Yadav himself boasts over 15 years of political experience and is known for his contributions to education and real estate. He previously contested elections on TDP's behalf and rejoined the party before the 2019 elections.

The Chirala constituency has a significant Yadav population, influencing TDP's decision to field Kondaiah Yadav. He will face Karanam Venkatesh, son of the current YCP MLA Karanam Balaram, who switched parties after winning on a TDP ticket in 2019.

While Nikhil has not officially joined TDP, speculation suggests he might campaign for his uncle in Chirala. However, close friends maintain that his involvement is limited to expressing gratitude for his uncle's candidacy and not an official party affiliation.

This clarifies the situation surrounding Nikhil Siddhartha's involvement with TDP. While he actively supports his uncle and the party, he has not formally joined its ranks.
