Sushmita shoots for Arya 3 after a heart attack. Sushmita Sen, who experienced a heart attack while filming the third season of her hit streaming series 'Aarya,' shared insights into how the working environment and set-up played a pivotal role in helping her ease into the process.
Reflecting on her return to the set of the show, Sushmita expressed, 'I was eager to get back to work, and I firmly believe that the longer you dwell on a situation, the more it can overwhelm you. The only way to overcome any life challenge is to keep moving forward, and all I needed was the green light from my doctor to proceed.'
She continued, 'Initially, I couldn't fathom shooting action sequences just one month after my heart attack, but the trust I had in my team was enough.' Sushmita went on to emphasize, 'My confidence in returning to the set was rooted in the knowledge that I had the necessary support whenever I required it. Whether it was the people around me or the medical assistance, we had a comprehensive hospital set-up, complete with doctors, an ambulance, and everything ready as we resumed shooting.'
'Aarya 3' marks the third installment of the popular action-thriller franchise led by Sushmita Sen. The series made its debut in 2020, with the first season earning a nomination for 'Best Drama' series at the International Emmy Awards.
The second part of the series was released in 2021. In 'Aarya,' Sushmita portrays a resilient woman who goes to great lengths to protect her family from the perils of the criminal world. The show was created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi and features a stellar cast, including Namit Das, Manish Chaudhari, and Sikandar Kher, among others.
