Aamir reacts when Rajamouli said he overacted. Aamir Khan is hailed has Mr . Perfectionist and he is known for subtle and realistic expressions. But his much hyped film Lal Singh Chaddha turned out to be a disaster and it crashed the dreams of Naga Chaitanya's Bollywood debut.

Critics and movie lovers panned Aamir Khan for his artificial expressions and many blasted him for overaction. Aamir's cousin Mansoor who directed him in his debut film Qayamat se Qayamat Tak, shared his thoughts and made startling revelations in his book “One: The Story of the Ultimate Myth”.

He said when he told Aamir that he overacted in the film, he didn't take him seriously but when star director Rajamouli said the same, he is accepted that he might have done so. He said “Aamir has a great sense of humour. So one day he laughingly tells me, ‘When you told me it was over the top, I said, ok, you are a subtle guy which is why you might have felt that way. But when someone like Rajamouli tells me overacting lag raha hai, I said to myself, Isko bhi lag raha hai toh kiya hi hoga (If he also feels so than it must be)’,” 

Rajamouli after watching Lal Singh Chaddha said “Aamir, kitna overacting kiya hai.” 

Mansoor Khan in his new book “One: The Story of the Ultimate Myth”, said he was “frank enough” to give Aamir his feedback well before others. “I liked the script. I think writer Atul Kulkarni did a fine job of it. Yes, Aamir, I believe, went over the top with his expressions. I mean the character is not a jerk, not someone suffering with dyslexia or anything else. He is a bit odd … but that’s about it."
