Jagan's loyalists appeal to HC

With Pradesh Congress Committee chief D Srinivas certain to  make his exit, Kadapa MP Ys Jaganmohan Reddy’s supporters in  the Congress party are pressing the High Command to appoint the MP from Kadpa either as State Congress president or as a Union Minister.

Addressing media persons at the CLP office here on Wednesday, the supporters alleged that some senior Congress leaders are trying to deprieve Jagan from assuming an important post. They are  trying to tarnish his image by spreading rumor that he is floating a party.

They asserted that Jagan would not leave the party under any circumstances. They also disclosed that they were trying to bring Jagan and Chief Minister K Rosaiah together by sinking their differences.

“Our priority is a PCC chief’s post or a Union ministership for Jagan,”they disclosed.

They also asserted that Jagan Mohan Reddy has never threatened or forced any MLA to participate in ‘Odarpu Yatra’ and said ‘Odarpu Yatra’ was not meant to mount pressure on the government for posts.
