Kin of politicians, Govt officials clash

It’s not the politicians alone who go underground,  even their sons do. Vinod Goud, son of Arvind Goud, a senior Telugu Desam leader and nephew of Devender Goud has been eluding the police for the last couple of days.

According to sources, Vinod picked up a quarrel with Arvind Lal, son of a senior IPS officer in a pub.  It is alleged that Vinod attacked Arvind Lal with a beer bottle. However, on the intervention of the pub staff, the matter subsided but Arvind on reaching home narrated the episode to his father. The IPS officer immediately ordered the police to arrest Vinod.

The police who went to arrest Vinod failed to trace him out. Reliable sources say that brawls between the sons of politicians and bureaucrats are giving the pub owners sleepless nights. Vinod is a regular pub-goer and picks brawls over trifles.
