Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy was jolted to learn on Saturday that three of his close aides Konda Surekha, Ambati Rambabu and Gattu Ramachandra Rao are being fired from the party.
Kanteti Satyanarayana Raju, the head of AP Congress party disciplinary committee broke the news. Raju said the reports against the three have already been drafted and they are being sent to the Congress High Command seeking their permission to expel all the three from the party on disciplinary grounds.
It remains to be seen whether Jagan will send an emissary to the party High Command seeking a patch-up formula or take on Sonia Gandhi directly.
The internal politics of Congress in the State are getting murkier day by day. With still 20 MLAs backing Jagan, the Congress Government in the State is walking on the razor’s edge getting ready to face any eventuality.
