CEO visits Tekkali

Srikakulam, Aug 29 :

 I. V. Subba Rao, Chief Electoral Officer, who earned laurels from various quarters for conducting the elections in a free and fair manner in the  recently concluded  elections  reached  Tekkali on Saturday in view of the  bypolls to be held here on September 10.

 He had  a meeting with district officials who will be  conducting the  elections as well as with the candidates  contesting the elections from Tekkali. He said  so far he received one  complain against  the violation of  electoral code and the  election commission is looking into the matter.

The Tekkali Assembly constituency fell vacant due to the death of Congress MLA K Revatipati recently.
