Outrage as Priyanka Gandhi compares Rahul Gandhi with Lord Ram

Vivek Agnihotri countered Priyanka Gandhi. It is known that Priyanka Gandhi, the sister of Rahul Gandhi came up with an emotional outburst after Rahul Gandhi was disqualified as the MP. She said "My family's blood has plowed democracy in this country. We are ready to do anything for this country's democracy. Great leaders of the Congress laid the foundation of democracy in this country."

She tried to compare Rahul Gandhi with Lord Ram questioning "How much will you insult one person? Was Lord Ram who was sent into exile a 'parivaarwadi'?" The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri questioned  "Family… family…. Family… What have you done? Family se itna fake pyaar hai to I’d suggest it’s time Gandhis start acting in Karan Johar films. At least, the family ecosystem matches karega. Kya pata KJo ko bhi le doobein."

On allegations that he is close to PM Modi and BJP, Vivek Agnihotri took on saying "I would say that a lot of people don't like me in Bollywood because they say, 'You support Modi.' They say I make political films. But I want to ask that at what point were Bollywood stars not close to politicians? Wasn't Amitabh Bachchan, the closest friend of Rajeev Gandhi? Isn't Mr. Khan, the closest friend of Priyanka and Sonia Gandhi? These things are told about me openly, but name one star or director who is not the closest with these people. But they do it hush hush. Didn't Aamir Khan sit with Medha Patkar for Narmada agitation? Wasn't he involved in politics? Why am I singled out?"

Vivek Agnihotri is now coming up with a film titled the The Vaccine War on India's fight against covid.
