Gone Prakash call to reject KCR

Senior Congress leader Gone Prakasa Rao called upon Telangana people to reject the Telangana Rashtra Samiti leader K Chandrasekhara Rao in the ensuing byelections.

 The byelections which are thrust upon them are neither a referendum nor a means to achieve statehood, Prakash Rao told newsmen during electioneering here on Saturday.

 The elected legislators resigned at the behest of TRS chief who has not kept the promises he made in the last elections, he stated. However, the Congress has fulfilled its promises made in its manifesto, he said.

 “The Congress worked hard on the lines of its manifesto,” he stated and called for a befitting reply to Chandrasekhara Rao through the byelections. He hoped the Telangana people will reject the TRS candidates.
