Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan, a staunch devotee of the human god Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi cancelled his visit to Prashanthi Nilayam scheduled for Wednesday.

The Sri Satyasai Trust on Tuesday appealed to Chavan against visiting Prashanthi Nilayam in the wake of volatile situation prevailing in the State in the wake of the highhanded behaviour of Maha police towards Telugu Desam leaders.
