Don’t shoot your mouths in public, YSR tells Ttd Board members
The Chief Minister, Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, is quite annoyed at the developments in the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (Ttd) Trust Board.
On Thursday morning, Dr Rajasekhara Reddy firmly told the Ttd Chairman, Mr Adikesavulu Naidu, and other board members not to shoot their mouths in public and warned them of severe action if they go to the media on the deep differences among the board members.
“Instead of looking after the facilities for the thousands of pilgrims who visit daily the world famous Tirumala shrine, you are openly discussing the differences among the board members, which is damaging the image of the Ttd Board. You should immediately stop this practice or stringent action will be taken against all of you,” Dr Reddy is understood to have told Mr Adikesavulu Naidu and other members over phone on Thursday morning.
For the past couple of days the Ttd Trust Board is in the news. Both the Chairman of the Board and the member, Mr Cheviredy Bhaskar Reddy, have been trading charges and counter charges against each other openly following which the board meeting scheduled for Monday has been put off.
After observing the developments and in order to put an end to the row, the Chief Minister on Thursday warned all the Ttd Board members, including the Chairman, not to shoot their mouths in public.
