T panel visits coastal Andhra on July 12

The Srikrishna Committee members on Wednesday stated that the Committee will visit Telangana after the completion of byelections to 12 seats announced by the Election Commission.

Talking to reporters, the members said they would visit the Telangana region after the byelections as their visit would influence the elections and violate the model code of conduct announced by the Election Commission.

They said the committee will visit Guntur, Krishna and West Godavari districts on July 12, 13 and 14 to elicit the views on the issue.

The members said the committee will complete its field visits by August.
