The special Central Bureau of Investigation court on Friday directed the Ramalinga Raju counsel to file a counter to CBI’s petition seeking a video linkage between the court and Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) to complete the trial in a speedy manner.
Special court Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate B V L N Chakravathi gave this direction after NIMS doctors informed that Raju was not in a position to appear before the court and posted the case to Monday.
Pulmonologist Ajit Kumar told the court that the first phase of Raju's treatment would be completed by July 17 and then he would be able to opinine about his condition.
With this the court will decide on Monday whether Raju should be examined through video conferencing.
