Sonia keeps Jagan waiting again

Will Kadapa MP Ys Jaganmohan Reddy get another snub from Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday?

The AICC president Sonia Gandhi is stated to have kept Jagan, his mother Y Vijayalakshmi and sister Sharmila waiting until the evening as she is busy in other engagements.

Jagan reached Delhi on Tuesday aftrernoon along with his mother and sister to seek the permission of the Congress High command for the Odarpu Yatra, which is likely to be launched on July 8, which coincides with the birth anniversary of late Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy.

According to reliable sources,  Sonia Gandhi may meet one or all the three depending on her other schedules in the evening.

In case Sonia chooses to meet one, MLA Vijayalakshmi may be her first choice as the widow of late Dr  Y S Rajasekhar Reddy who was close to the Gandhi family.

 It is alleged that the High Command is still not  happy with Jagan’s relations with Gali Reddy  brothers from Bellary in Karnataka. The Gali  brothers who form the backbone of Karnataka  Bharatiya Janata party government are causing  more inconvenience to the Christian  community in the state.

The High Command in Delhi and the Congress circles are aware that Jagan is hobnobing with the Gali brothers of Bellary.

It is further stated that the only way to keep  the Gali brothers under check is to clip the wings of Jagan who is close to the Obulapuram mines barons, the Gali brothers.

The permission to Jagan’s odarpu yatra is still hanging in balance with the  High Command not showing any sign of relenting.
