Balakrishna meets Anam

Tollywood actor and Telugu Desam leader N Balakrishna met State Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Anam Ram Narayana Reddy at his residence in the Minister's Quarters here on Saturday.

Balakrishna is reported to have met the Minister to seek his support and approval for installing a statue of his late father and former chief minister N. T Rama Rao at Filmnagar in the city. 

D.V.S Raju representing the Film Society of Hyderabad accompanied actor Balakrishna and handed a memorandum over to the Minister.

The Minister, however, promised to take up the matter to Chief Minister K Rosaiah before deciding the issue. The minister is reported to have suggested that there was also a proposal to install the statue of erstwhile chief minister Y.S Rajasekhar Reddy in the locality.
