Chandrababu felicitate senior journalists

Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday felicitated senior journalists Pothurri Venkateswara Rao and Vardachari for doing research studies on the life of N T Ramarao the founder of  TDP.

At a function held at NTR Trust Bhavan here on Saturday,  the TDP chief presented them with a shawl and a cash award .

Speaking on the occasion,  Chandrababu lauded the disciplined life of NTR. Rama Rao etched a name for himself in the hearts of the poor by introducing the welfare schemes like the Rs 2 a kg and land for the landless poor.

Praising NTR’s private life, Chadrababu said ``to serve the poor, NTR left the lucrative cine filed and joined  politics.’’
