AP Ranks 2 In 30 Worst hit COVID Districts

India is witnessing an unprecedented number of Covid cases and Andhra Pradesh is also recording a massive surge of novel coronavirus cases each day. The Union Government has released a list of 30-worst districts of the country and shockingly Andhra Pradesh ranks second in the top 30 districts of India.

Andhra Pradesh has seven districts which are Chittoor, Srikakulam, East Godavari, Guntur, Vishakapatnam, Anantapur, and Kurnool. While Kerala has 10 districts , Karnataka has 3 districts, Tamil Nadu 2 districts, Madhya Pradesh (2), Maharashtra (2), Haryana  (2) and one in Uttarakhand and in Bihar.

In all these 30 districts, the percentage of Covid positivity rate is 20 %.
