Ramulamma To Contest Elections!

Politician turned yesteryear actress Vijayashanti never ceases to hog the media limelight. She who did glamorous roles in the early days of her career later did powerful performance oriented roles and won the appreciation of all as Lady Amitabh. Last seen in Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru, Vijayashanti stole the hearts of all. During that time speculation increased that she would be cast in one of Chiranjeevi's projects.

But the same couldn't be said about her performance in politics. She tested her luck in Congress, TRS and BJP and even launched her own party Talli Telangana. But after repeated failures she rejoined BJP. Now reports are coming that she may contest the Nagarjuna Sagar by-elections.

Ever since she joined BJP, she had been going hammer and tongs on Telangana CM KCR and the ruling TRS party. This impressed Nalgonda district BJP leaders who sent few suggestions to the state BJP leaders. They are now conducting an internal survey and of everything goes well, then Vijayashanti will be the party candidate for Sagar elections.
