``During the last three days we were able to collect excellent information from the delegations we came across and they would be useful to the committee in finalizing its report, said V K Duggal, Member-Secretary of the Srikrishna Committee here on Wednesday.
The Member-Secretary of the Srikrishna panel opined that the report of the Committee would be the final word on the Telangana question as it would give a comprehensive and detailed report suggesting solutions to the vexed question.
Interacting with the media at the Lake View Guest House in the absence of the Committee Chairman, Justice B N Srikrishna, Duggal hoped that the Srikrishna Committee would be the last the Committee on the prolonged Telangana issue as it was holding widest possible consultations with all sections of the people from Telangana and Andhra- Rayalaseema areas. Its report would be comprehensive. The Centre would take a final decision acceptable to all on the issue based on the report of the Committee.
According to sources, the Chairman of the Committee, Justice Srikrishna left Hyderabad on Tuesday and the remaining four members of the Committee held consultations with the representatives of the Employees Unions and Associations and representatives of the University teachers and students on Wednesday.
Justice Srikrishna is scheduled to go abroad and would be back in the second week of June. Next round of consultations would be conducted by the remaining members of the Committee.
