GHMC Results 2020: Total Votes Polled For Parties

Marking a stunning show in the Ghmc elections, the BJP emerged as the second-largest party, dislodging the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) from half the seats it had held. While the BJP tally went up from four in 2016 to 48, the TRS numbers went down from 99 to 55. The AIMIM retained its tally of 44 seats.

Curiously, there’s no huge margin of votes polled for TRS and BJP. TRS won 35.81% (12,04,167) votes, BJP secured 35.56% (11,95,711) votes. Here’s the list of votes polled for leading parties in Ghmc elections 2020.
