Chief Minister K Rosaiah must react to the charge of rampant graft  by his ministers as revealed by Guntur MP Rayapati Sambhasiva, stated Communist Party (Marx) state secretary B V Raghavulu.

The CPM leader on Monday demanded that the Chief Minister sack his ministers Dharmana Prasada Rao and Vatti Vasanth Kumar for allegedly misusing NREGS funds. The Chief Minister should probe the charges of corruption against a few other ministers also, he suggested.

He sought to know why Rosaiah could not order a probe into the allegations of large-scale graft by his ministers when he had discussed about negative reports in newspapers at the Cabinet meeting.

He said when the Communist party exposed the corruption in Jalayagnam works with proof, no action was taken against the Congress members. “The Congress has issued notices to the members and hushed up the issue,” he said.

“The Chief Minister should explain to people what action he would take against corrupt ministers, when his own party members raised the issue,” he stated.

“The Chief Minister should prove his commitment by ordering a probe against the tainted ministers,” he added.
