Assembly adjourned for 15 minutes

Hyderabad, Aug 19 :

 The Andhra Pradesh State Legislativesembly Speaker AsKiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday adjourned the House for 15 minutes when the Opposition leaders insisted on the discussion of adjournment motion.

When the House met for the day, the Opposition leaders urged the Speaker to take up the discussion on adjournment motions. As the Speaker disallowed the adjournment motions in the House, the members expressed their protest and disrupted the House for some time.

During the question hour, the Telugu Desam members dissatisfied with the reply of Minister for Irrigation P Lakshmaiah on release of water from Nizam Sagar, staged a protest in front of Speaker’s podium.

As the members disturbed the House frequently, the Speaker was unable to continue the House and adjourned it for 15 minutes.
