Sri Krishna Committee appointed to look into the problem of Telangana have started their work at the root level as the committee members are touring villages in Telangana and Rayalseema districts to gather the first hand information from rural people and to now about the intensity of separate state movement in local people.
Ravinder Kaur and Abu Saleh Sharif are on the field visits of Mahabubnagar district. If BJP was alone party opposing this committee, it is the big issue of translators which Telangana Jaagruthi Samithi leader Kavitha is seriously concerned about.
Instead of the Government appointed translators, Ravinder Kaur has took along with her Mr. Srinivas, a native from Krishna district to translate the views of local Telugu language spoken people to Hindi and English for better understanding of Committee members.
Kavitha, daughter of KCR has complained it to committee member Duggal to look into the issue of Srinivas who is interpreting the Telangana problem in a wrong focus to committee members. ‘He is over enthusiastic and collecting the information from local Telanganites with out the intimation of committee members. When he is not a Government appointed translator, who is he to interpret the issue? Please sack Srinivas urgently from the ground visits else the report may be maligned,’ expressed Kavitha her deep concern over translator.
Duggal responded timely and promised Kavitha that Srinivas will no more be on ground visits.
