With Ys Jaganmohan Reddy’s ‘Odarpu yatra’ drawing an overwhelming response from the people of all regions the Kadapa MP has ventured into, the ‘Jagan Sena’ is now keen to utilise this response.
Proposals by YSR loyalists soon after his untimely death in a chopper crash to install the leader’s statues were relegated to the background as these followers turned their attention to their bid of installing Jagan in the chief minister chair.
Now that the Odarpu Yatra has once again brought Jagan to the fore of state politics, Jagan’s followers do not want this opportunity go waste. They are now keen to install YSR’s statues all over the state and with reports of people willing to donate to this proposal, it is now only a matter of time before it is materialised.
According to knowledgeable sources, the Jagan Sena is already working on ways and means to avoid misuse of funds collected from such donations.A new proposal is being worked on that as well and if all goes well, every village, town and city of Andhra Pradesh would be seeing the statue of YSR soon.
