Cong out to ditch T people: Harish Rao

Taking  a serious  view of Congress party’s attitude in not submitting its report to the Sri Krishna panel, Telangana Rashtra Samiti leader Harish Rao  said ``the Congress is once again ditching the people of Telangana.''

Addressing the media here on Thursday, he came out heavily against Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal.  He alleged  that Rajagopal is hiring people and consulting agencies to submit reports to the Sri Krishna panel.

As  the deadline for receiving the reports by the panel is  approaching , Rajagopal  is  losing his stability and acting mindlessly, Harish Rao observed.

There is no unanimity between the statements made by PCC president D Sirinivas and Lagadapati Rajagopal. It is  ridiculous that leaders of the same party cannot  make sensible statements on the issue of Telangnna, the TRS leader lamented.

The political leaders in the  state, who have large stakes in Hyderabad are supporting the idea of integrated Andhra Pradesh for the fear of  losing their own interests.  Otherwise, these leaders have no interest in the development of Telangana,  Rao explained.
