Sabita is mom-in-law at 'home'

Karthik Reddy, son of Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy was united in marriage with Lakshmi Sravathi at Shamshabad here on Wednesday.

The marriage was held on a lavish scale  with ministers and prominent  political leaders turning up at the venue to bless the newly-wedded couple.

Karthik Reddy is a B.Tech from Shaadan College  and Laxmi Sravathi is also an  engineering graduate from the same  college. Karthik Reddy fell in love with Laxmi Sravathi, a Brahmin girl while studying at college.

Sabitha consented her approval for the wedding, setting aside the caste factor and economic disparities between the families.

The wedding was attended by scores of leaders including Chief Minister  K Rosaiah, PRP chief Chiranjeevi, TDP  president  Chandrababu Naidu, PCC president  D. Srinivas, Eeenadu head Ramoji Rao among  others.

Incidentally, when Rosaiah came to bless the couple, the main stage partially caved in, which was promptly set right by the ever agile workers present at the spot.
