Delivering its order in a writ petition filed by actor and Jayabheri Group director Murali Mohan, the apex court said the State Government may take up the Outer Ring Road via Narsingi-Pabbalaguda without disturbing the environment.

Murali Mohan had moved the court against the acquisition of his lands for the construction of Outer Ring Road. The case pertains to about 30 acre in Narsingi near Hyderabad. The land is proposed to be acquired by the government for the Outer Ring Road project.

However, Murali Mohan contended that the alignment of the Outer Ring Road was deliberately changed to acquire his land.

The apex court also directed the government to complete the construction of the ring road by protecting the pond in the area.
