Mega fans who are following the developments in Andhra Pradesh right after YSRCP swept the elections handing a crushing defeat to the ruling TDP headed by Chandra Babu Naidu, are now feeling that their star Power Star Pawan Kalyan, chief of Janasena missed the golden opportunity.

Jagan Mohan Reddy, chief of YSRCP after taking oath as the CM of Andhra Pradesh, created a sensation by announcing that the state would have five deputy Chief Ministers one each from SC, ST, BC, minorities and Kapus.

The moment one heard of deputy CM post for Kapus, many thought that Pawan Kalyan missed a golden opportunity. It is known that Pawan Kalyan hailing from the same community has huge fan following among them across the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Before the elections, many felt that Pawan would split the votes of their community between Janasena and Chandra Babu's TDP. Talk of alliance between Pawan's Janasena and Jagan's YSRCP too did rounds as analysts felt that Pawan may play the spoilsport just like how Mega Star Chiranjeevi did with his party Praja Rajyam when Chandara Babu and KCR joined hands forming Mahakutami to take on the then ruling Congress led by YSR.

But for some reason, alliance talks between Jagan's YSRCP and Pawan's Janasena didn’t materialize. Reports came that Pawan's unpredicted and untenable demands shocked Jagan who decided to go all alone without having alliance with Janasena.

Mega fans, Pawan Kalyan fans and supporters of Janasena are now ruing the missed golden opportunity. Had Pawan been in alliance with Jagan's YSRCP, he would have become the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
