Vijayawada Lok Sabha member Lagadapati Rajagopal on Friday submitted another report to the Srikrishna Committee in New Delhi against bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh in the wake of the demand for Telangana state.

Submitting his sixth report to the committee, the MP told reporters that the controversial bifurcation of the state issue had cost several lives, particularly students who resorted to extreme steps.

He said the separate statehood agitation victimized all sections of the people and no investor is keen on coming to set up a business venture in the region.

Even if the Telangana state was formed, the youth would not get any job opportunities as investors are launching their new ventures elsewhere other than the Telangana region due to the violent agitations, he pointed out in his report.

Lagadapati said no leader or his family committed suicide for the cause of Telangana state till now. He asked the people to understand the cheap gimmicks of politicians to get mileage in the name of Telangana.
