Janasena Party chief Pawan Kalyan and fans of Power Star are in a state of shock as their hero lost not from one but both Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram constituencies in the recently held assembly elections. Right from the beginning analysts predicted a bleak picture for Pawan Kalyan and Janasena, but the party supporters accused the pollsters for not gauging the power of Pawan Kalyan and spoke of silent revolution and Pawan tsunami on the counting day.
On the counting day no such silent revolution came and Pawan's party got blown away by the whirlwind created by Jagan's fan. Many started analyzing the failures of Pawan but his fans and supporters started blaming the people accusing them of voting to Jagan getting lured by money and liquor.
Analysts are blasting Pawan Kalyan's fans for such accusations and insulting voters rather than accepting the defeat gracefully and analyze their failure. In the midst of all this many feel that Pawan missed a golden opportunity in 2014. During that time, he after launching Janasena instead of contesting the elections supported TDP-BJP alliance and helped CBN-Modi to come to power.
PM Modi acknowledging his contribution even invited him for his swearing-in ceremony. He hogged the media attention at the national level. Many feel had he contested in 2014, he would have won few seats in alliance with Modi wave and would have enjoyed power at least for some time.
Without contesting and then failing to respond on the important burning issues at the right time, he lost the golden opportunity and is now facing extinction from politics.
