YRSCP's Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to secure the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Post from N Chandra Babu Naidu, as leads suggest a landslide victory of the party in the state. Of the 175 seats, YSRCP is leading in 152 seats, while the ruling TDP is ahead in just 23 places. The majority mark in the assembly stands at 88.
YSRCP officially confirmed that Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy will take oath as AP CM on May 30th. However, the venue will be announced later. Meanwhile, Jagan speaking to a national media congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is going to retain PM post second time. NDA is leading in 344 Lok Sabha segments, whereas UPA is leading in 90 places.
“Congratulations to Sri Narendra Modi for the grand victory. I can’t speak about Sri Rahul Gandhi now. YSRCP’s win was anticipated. We have the blessings of people of Andhra Pradesh and the god. Our main agenda is to attain Special Status to Andhra Pradesh,” said Jagan.
