After shifting to the Begumpet camp office here on Monday, Chief Minister K Rosaiah said he would continue the tradition of accepting people’s grievances from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Rosaiah told reporters at the Camp Office that he would spend more time in the new office and interact with people about their problems. “I would retain the tradition of accepting public petitions like my predecessor YSR did and function fullitime here,” he pointed out.

As the budget session of the Assembly comes to a close in four days, he appealed to the Opposition leaders to help the smooth conduct of the House business.

The Speaker cannot do anything if the members did not cooperate with him in the smooth functioning of the House, he suggested.

He urged the Opposition parties to come up with pressing issues, which need debating in the House.
