Minister's letter to CM

The Ministers and MLAs of Telangana region on Friday appealed to Chief Minister K Rosaiah to drop the  proposed construction of Kanthalapalli lift irrigation project and Dummagudem project in Khammam district.

They opposed  the government's  decision to construct these projects on BOT(Build, Operate and Transfer) basis.

In this connection the Ministers and MLAs submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister asking  him to reconsider the government decision.

The government has awarded contracts for the construction of these projects on Godavari River on BOT (Build, Operate and Transfer) basis to address the fluoride problem in seven mandals besides supplying water to irrigation needs.
