Their party is claimed as the party of down trodden. Their leader is claimed as the voice of entire Indian downtrodden backward communities. She is Mayawati and the party is Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) of Uttar Pradesh.

The incident of surprise happened at the BSP rally on the occasion of party’s silver jubilee celebrations in Lucknow when Mayawati was garlanded by 50,000 numbers of Rs. 1000 currency notes. HN Sharma, BSP’s Karnataka unit chief, said it was a gift from all BSP state presidents to the party chief.

To welcome further more troubles, the entire BSP rally is known to be conducted at the budget of above Rs. 200 crores. In fact, no one noticed the Rs.1000 currency notes with which the giant garland was created until identified by a local photographer when he zoomed in. Till then many perceived it as one special garland made of some beautiful shining imported flowers.

Now Congress, SP and BJP have targeted their guns against the party chief for these scandalous celebrations when entire country is reeling under financial crisis. Even some parties have demanded the CBI probe into this alleged accumulation of black money.
