Much to the astonishment of Nandamuri family members, popular hero Nandamuri Balakrishna, made a surprising visit to the residence of Lakshmi Parvathi, the widow of his father late N T Rama Rao, on Wednesday.
Lakshmi Parvathi, who married NTR, was rejected by Balakrishna and his family at the behest of Chandrababu Naidu, who usurped power from NTR in 1995 August coup. Since then, Lakshmi Parvathi has been waging a lone battle against Chandrababu Naidu.
Despite her efforts to associate herself with members of NTR’s family everyone disowned her. Balakrishna more than meeting her addressed her as ``amma’’ which surprises all.
Balakrishna, who visited Lakshmi Parvati for the first time after NTR’s death stayed there for about an hour and later went to have a look around the house.
Speaking to the media, he said that he never had any differences with Lakshmi Parvathi and didn't go to her house till now because of some reasons. `` I always treated her like my own mother, ‘’ he added.
“I have invited her to visit my house and the differences will be sorted out,” he observed.
`` Blalkrishna came here to discuss about the NTR museum, ‘’ said Lakshmi Parvathi and kept on referring to him as 'MY SON'.
