When the House met for the day, Telugu Desam, Praja Rajyam and Communist Party of India introduced adjournment motion on denying hall tickets for intermediate students due to lack of attendance.
Bharatiya Janata Party introduced adjournment motion on handicraft workers for allegedly committing suicides due to lack of assistance from the government.
Communist Party (Marxist) introduced adjournment motion on problems of building and construction workers.However, the Speaker rejected all adjournment motions due to time constraint.
Objecting the Speaker’s decision, the Opposition parties staged a protest in the House and insisted that the speaker should take up the issues for discussion.
